Introducing the Naati Grains Virgin Kansa Bronze Infant Feeding Cup, traditionally known by names such as Sangadai, Sangu and Paladai. Similar traditional feeding vessels are also known by different names in other parts of India, including Uggu Ginne and Bondla.
We wanted to bring this traditional design back in a material that is rarely available for this type of infant feeding vessel.

Our Sangadai is made from Virgin Kansa Bronze, using:
78% Copper + 22% Tin
We use virgin copper and virgin tin, with no scrap metal used in making this product.
The focus is simple — a traditional design, carefully made with attention to the material and craftsmanship.
Designed with the Baby and the Person Feeding in Mind
At Naati Grains, we didn't want to simply reproduce an old design.
We carefully designed the side handle to be easy and comfortable to hold while feeding an infant. A steady grip makes it easier for the person feeding the baby to control the cup.
We have also paid special attention to the nose / spout.
It has been designed with two things in mind:
The feeding edge should be smooth and comfortable against the baby's delicate mouth.
The shape should allow the liquid to flow properly and in a controlled manner while feeding.
The approximately 20 ml capacity makes it convenient for feeding small quantities, including mother's milk and liquid medicines.

Traditional infant feeding vessels have been used in Indian households for generations. Today, similar products are commonly available in materials such as steel, brass, aluminium and silver.
We wanted to create something different.
So we developed this traditional feeding vessel in Virgin Kansa Bronze, using virgin copper and tin and keeping the traditional character of the design while paying attention to the details that matter when feeding a baby.
