Kolli Hills Black Pepper is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, known as a peppercorn, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. When fresh and fully mature, it is about 5 mm in diameter and dark red, and contains a single seed, like all drupes.

The Kolli Hills pepper is the best pepper I have used in my kitchen. The grains are big and spicy, with a rich aroma. I use it for making biryani, rasam and sometimes even chutney. It stays fresh in box for months, and even a small quantity gives strong flavor. Much better than supermarket brands, completely organic and healthy.
